Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What sizes of violin cases will fit in the shelves?
A: The shelves are designed to hold a variety of case sizes, including those for ¼, ½, ¾, and full-size.
Q: Can these shelves also hold instruments out of their cases?
A: No. The shelves are not designed for the dimensions of uncased violins or violas, nor does it have the protective padding required to safely store uncased instruments.
Q: Can these shelves hold smaller instruments too?
A: If you have cases for smaller-sized instruments, like flutes or clarinets, you will need to measure to be sure. The cases will fit if one side is at least 6.5″ and another is at least 22″.
Q: How does it protect the instruments from damage?
A: It’s built with sturdy materials to prevent tipping or wobbling and it includes a vinyl bumper at contact points to protect the instrument cases from scratches and scuffs, helping them stay in top condition over time.
Q: Can the rack be placed directly against the wall?
A: No, because the cases lean slightly over the back edge. How far they lean can vary somewhat depending on the case model but in general we suggest you leave approximately 6″ of space between the rack and the wall.
Q: How easy is this product to assemble?
A: The rack comes with clear instructions and all necessary hardware included. Still, this product is semi-complex and will be much easier to assemble if you have help from a second person.
Q: Can the rack be customized to fit specific classroom dimensions?
A: We currently do not offer customization options.

Delivery Timeframe: Your order should depart from our warehouse within 2 business days and is sent via UPS Ground. A tracking number will be emailed to you directly from UPS as soon as the shipment is en-route.
Payment Processing: We will not charge your credit card until the item is ready to ship.
If a product arrives damaged, please email us photos (required) of the damaged component and the box in which it was shipped and notify us immediately (i.e., within the first 15 days of your delivery date). We will ship you replacements for the damaged parts and issue return shipping for the damaged parts (if we require the damaged parts to be returned).
For non-damaged returns, we take pride in our craftsmanship, but if you're not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it for a full refund (minus the initial shipping cost and return shipping cost). We must be notified via email within the first 30 days of your delivery date. All returns must arrive at our receiving location in perfect, unused, and resellable condition. Please notify us via e-mail as to the reason for the return as well as your name, address, order number and name of product purchased. We will then contact you with a Return Authorization # and instructions on where and how to make the return. Important: Please keep all original packaging to make the return.
